Report by: Nigel & Janet Eadie- 19th & 20th May 2012
Staff at the Tavistock Original Pasty House provided the catering facilities for players and spectators visiting this year’s Son Rise Cup Football Festival on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th May. We set up a mini “Pasty House” in a huge marquee on site: providing a menu of Hot Pasties, Sausage Rolls, Bacon & Cheese Bites, Bacon Rolls, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Baguettes, Home-made Cakes, along with Tea & Coffee, plus cold drinks. It was a really terrific event: we had some great comments back from customers attending, and the organising committee were “blown away” with what we were able to provide.
As a business, were very proud to be involved with such a prestigious event, and delighted with the feedback we received. From an organisational standpoint, it was a great achievement, and we really enjoyed the challenge. A huge THANK YOU and congratulations to all the staff who worked at the event who were also great fun, and worked superbly as a team: to Sian, Mark, Vicky, Jess, Sarah ‘B’, Zoe & Chanelle – you were just fantastic, thank you so much for all your hard work.
We would also like to thank Kevin Dunmore from Kevin Dunmore Refrigeration with his team (Michael, James & Lindsey) for supplying additional equipment and helping with the set up. We must also thank Ian & Ross Cunningham of K.C. Electrical – who equally did an amazing job setting up the kitchen, transporting equipment and balancing the electrics. Honestly, it looked like Pasty House No.3! Well done gentlemen. Take a look at the pictures to see for yourself.
